Dear players

For the incoming weekend (including whole Monday, so from the server save on Friday to the server save on Tuesday) due to all the incoming changes such as new experience formula, damage related changes as well as skills merge we have decided to prepare for you something to enjoy!

That being said, we would like to announce an event with increased rates by 50% from the server save on 16.06.2023 to the server save on 20.06.2023:

Dear players

Guild war declaration has been added to the guild manager. This option is ONLY available on Serenity world.

That being the case, guild wars will allow fighting between guilds on Serenity (optional PvP) until certain limits are met (either frag limit is hit or a timeout happens). Please note, once guild war is accepted and executed by the game server you won't be able to walk through other members of your guild and the opponent guild. Also, please be aware that you cannot join or leave a guild which is in active war.

Dear players

After tomorrow's server save all game worlds as well as the website will stay offline for some time due to scheduled patch to introduce merged skills, new experience formula and other damage related changes. The exact changelog will be posted after the patch.

Offline time might take up to few hours and since exact offline time cannot be determined we suggest you to take some time off waiting for everything to come back online.

Dear players

The following changes were made as of today's server save:

  • Increased healing of target dummy.
  • Vampiric weapons obtained from "Sorrowful Blood" quest can now be used without any requirement.
  • Strength and dexterity now also affects damage of players with no vocation.
  • Pumpkin armor is now an item rank 40 item and provides dexterity bonus.
  • Mystic turban's Intelligence attribute now provides intelligence bonus.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented renewing gold pouch subscription.
  • Corrected 'Magic Shield' spell description within spellbook module.
  • Travelling module is now displayed properly after right-clicking NPC Raftsman Roger or NPC Kilmen.
  • Addressed an issue where Vast Grip attribute was displayed twice on tooltip of golden staff and helmet of the fallen king. Affected items must be equipped again to apply the fix.
  • Fixed a map issue on Glacius Isle hunting zone.

Dear players

The following changes were made after today's server save:

  • Flamebringers not longer can cast manadrain attack.
  • Fire fields on optional PvP game world now decay correctly.
  • Player corpses on optional PvP game world are now account soulbound and can be opened, moved or destroyed only by player who had died, or other characters on the same account.
  • Increased human body decay time from 30 minutes to 60 minutes per stage.
  • Closing a door with creature standing on the same tile will now remove any field type objects where creature will be pushed to.
  • Item rank is now displayed under the name of an item and above item type in an item tooltip.
  • Character's total spellpower and total intelligence, dexterity or strength are now displayed within skills module.
  • 'Bloodlust Stance' is now automatically disabled after deequipping a two-handed weapon.
  • Travelling module is now displayed properly after right-clicking NPC Minerva.
  • Fixed an issue that caused jaguars to appear on top of the stairs.

Light rope:

  • Added a new item: light rope.
  • Light rope can only be purchased and used on optional PvP game world.
  • Light rope can be used on containers on ground to tie them and claim ownership of containers.
  • Owned containers can only be opened by owner and members of their party.
  • Owned containers cannot be moved.
  • Light rope can be used on owned container to relinquish ownership of the container.
  • Light rope can only be used if there are no other movable items on the same tile.
  • Ownership of container is automatically relinquished when opened by any invited player inside a house.
  • Light rope can be purchased from General Goods Merchants (for example: Grant in Eschen).
  • Light rope can be used unlimited amount of times and cannot be used to climb, like a regular rope.
  • Owned container cannot be destroyed with weapon or desintegrate rune.

A non-mandatory game client update has been dispatched. Character's stats (such as Dexterity) will only be displayed in skills window after updating your game client.

  • Light rope can now be used only on wearable containers (bags and backpacks).
  • Light rope now cannot be used on tiles containing certain objects, such as ladders and rope spot.
  • Berserk and Decimate damage values are now properly displayed when no melee weapon is equipped.

The following changes were made after today's server save:

  • Soulbound version of spicy sockeye meal, baked lionfish, barbel feast and exquisite barbel feasts now work exactly the same as the non-soulbound version.
  • Casting 'Soul Shield' spell no longer deactivates 'Bloodlust Stance' effects.
  • NPCs Sonya and NPC Peter now sell light rope on optional PvP game worlds.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented alpha wolf to spawn on a small island near Garrogat.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented to progress a quest in Arcanum on optional game world due to different energy field item id.
  • Correct spellpower bonus is now displayed in Arcane Marksmanship spell description.

Dear players

Minor difference in experience rates between Progeny / Eternum and Pendulum / Purity has been adjusted for the latter ones (to match experience rates of Progeny / Eternum).

Please note, the only difference in experience rates was up until level 180 for all of those worlds. Considering the fact that it only mattered during first months since launch of the new worlds we have decided to get rid of that minor difference for the sake of standardization. That way, worlds of Pendulum and Purity can be appealing to new players as well.
