Damage Log & Osaris Underwater Travel System [10.40]

Dear players

This update introduces a new Damage Log channel and the Osaris Underwater Travel System for Tidebound players, alongside broad quality-of-life improvements, balance changes to items and visual updates across Yehsha and Forgula. We’ve also reworked multiple items and monsters, adjusted loot, experience, and hunting zones, improved Bestiary, expanded store and premium features, and fixed various bugs.

The following changes were made after server save:

Damage Log:

  • Added a Damage Log channel, where messages about damage dealt and received are now being sent.

Osaris Underwater Travel System:

  • NPC Great Whale now offers a new travel system to players with Tidebound rank.
  • The new routes available transport you to areas near the underwater hunting zones and cost giant pale pearls to travel.

Miscellaneous changes:

  • Phoenix Nest in Yehsha now has few instances. Requires heart of fire to enter, with a chance of it being consumed upon entry.
  • Golden crewmans no longer disappear instantly after their despawn timers runs out while they are in combat.
  • Decreased amount of tidal scales dropped by bloodscale nagas from 10 to 6. Duskfin dragonets now grant 3 tidal scales on kill. Average amount of tidal scales per hour has not changed.
  • Health scaling of 8-man dungeon bosses in Sanctum was decreased from 25% to 20% per player for each additional party member.
  • Increased amount of shakirian arrows obtainable by crafting from 5 to 15 per phenakite bar.
  • Vials of mana fluid have been replaced with mana potions in NPC offers. This means newly bought mana potions may require a change to hotkey in order to be used.
  • Conjure ammunition spells now automatically place conjured ammunition in quiver and rune pouch.
  • Swapping items with hotkeys now place the deequipped item in the same container where equipped item was placed.
  • Updated client icons of few modules.

Visual changes:

  • Revamped grond and wall textures of Yehsha tombs.
  • Revamped several textures and objects of Forgula.
  • Revamped sprites of no-PvP and spectral fire magic fields.
  • Sandstone Sphynx of Osaris is now slightly smaller and had its sprites reworked.

Item changes:

  • Increased damage dealt with active abilities of Primordial Weapons.
  • Damage of Primordial Weapons now scale with spellpower instead of just level and magic level.
  • Ocean conch cooldown is now per player instead of per conch.
  • Ocean conch and cursed ankh can now be used only by premium players.
  • Ocean conch can now be also obtained from NPC Captain Morgan by trading giant pale pearls.
  • Tome of Deepcurrent can now be enchanted with new attribute: Icewarding, that has chance to completely nullify an ice attack towards you.
  • Greatly reduced weight of royal tapestries.
  • Renamed legendary variant of magic plate armor to darkwyrm plate armor.
  • Decreased weight of adventurer's tools from 35 oz. to 15 oz.
  • Increased base dexterity of dreadeye crossbow and reduced bonus dexterity by the same amount.
  • Increased container size of abyssal and eldritch backpacks from 35 to 40 slots.
  • Abyssal backpack now grants 1% curse resistance.
  • Necromantic backpack now grants 6 speed, 1% death resistance and 1% lifedrain resistance.
  • Ethereal spear no longer has infinite charges when used in Training Zone.
  • Added cadet spear purchasable for 50 vile soul goblets from Huntsman Guild members such as NPC Radek, and NPC Valeryn in Training Zone on Mauren Islands. Cadet spear has low attack and never breaks.
  • Added vanadinite spear craftable by NPC Grazlin with vanadinite bars.
  • Health and mana regeneration items have their regeneration and ticks values shown in item tooltip.
  • Increased damage dealt with falcon bow's Thundershot arrows from 40% to 70% of regular damage.
  • Spell wands now only grant mana progress towards magic level when used on dummies. Now grant 2 mana on regular dummies and 0.5 (25% rate) on training dummies in Training Hub per hit.

Bestiary changes:

  • Added a button in task menu pages that leads to bestiary page of the creature.
  • Pages of unknown creatures can now be accessed with information limited to health, experience, name and locations.
  • Name of all unknown creatures are now visible in Bestiary.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where level sync was not deactivated properly after leaving the party.
  • Fixed an issue where merchant listed in item tooltip of few items was incorrect.
  • Fixed an issue where training station packages could be sold on marketplace while still on cooldown.
  • Fixed several dialogue and spelling issues.
  • Fixed an issue where icewake ring would not properly add underwater movement bonus speed in Depths.
  • Fixed an issue where Stormstride spell could target creatures not in a clear sight.
  • Hitting training dummies in Training Zone with spell wands now grant 2 blocking skill tries.

Dungeon rewards:

  • Dungeon rewards are now counting towards loot in Hunt Analyzer.
  • Dungeon rewards of all party members are now shown as loot windows and are sent to Party channel.
  • Dungeon reward names are now colored based on their drop chance.

Golden Premium, Store and Store Items:

  • Item Stash can now be viewed outside depot by players with golden premium accounts status (viewing only).
  • Added a large planter to the in-game Store. NPC Rodger in Eschen and now exchanges 12 planting pots for 1 large planter.
  • Large planter allows to plant up to 10 seeds that will grow in order they have been planted, at same pace as planting pot.
  • Added a new outfit to Store offer: Veilwarden.
  • Added an alternative variant of Royal Archer with more color customizations. Redeemable for free by players who purchased the outfit. Automatically added when buying the outfit.
  • Added a 8-hour variant of Skill boost to game store.

While adventurer's tools are in inventory, they now also allow the following actions:

  • rope action after pressing right-click on rope holes,
  • pick action after pressing right-click on cracked ground to reveal a hole,
  • machete action after pressing right-click on tall grass, wild growths and other items that can be cut with machete.

Monster changes:

  • Increased health of lich from 880 to 1030. Now summons up to 2 instead of 4 bonebeasts.
  • Cultist blooddrinker now retargets less often.
  • Nightmaw now deals slightly more damage from its attacks.
  • Abyss reaper now deals slightly more damage from its melee attack.
  • Voidflayer now deals slightly less damage per tick of Desintegration attack, but with shorter delay between ticks.
  • Brinewyrm no longer deals an elemental melee attack.
  • Decreased amount of damage dealt with elemental melee attack of eelwyrm.
  • Increased average loot value of corrupted spider by about 18%.
  • Increased average loot value of frostmaiden by about 4%.
  • Increased average loot value of crownscale wyrm by about 15%.
  • Increased average loot value of bloodlord by about 18%.
  • Increased average loot value of maltherion by about 43%. No changes to rare item drop rates.
  • Increased average loot value of necrolord by about 6%.
  • Legendary variants on all hunting zones in Necropolis now have a chance to drop a key of bound soul.
  • Increased experience yielded by feralwood druid from 19950 to 23500.
  • Increased experience yielded by bloodspirit from 660 to 800.
  • Increased experience yielded by ectoplasm from 530 to 730.
  • Increased experience yielded by poltergeist from 1860 to 2360.
  • Increased experience yielded by spectre from 1150 to 1650.
  • Increased experience yielded by vengeful spirit from 1760 to 2600.
  • Decreased experience yielded by tideshrimp from 6800 to 6200. Increased cost of zone boost.
  • Decreased heal of watermaw from 1300 to 650. Decreased average loot value by 26%.

Hunting Zone changes:

  • "Home of Dranus" underwater hunting zone now grants additional movement speed to all creatures.
  • Changed monster layout of ancient watchers and oculi in Black Tomb (Arak) hunting zone.
  • Changed monster layout of ancient watchers and oculi in Black Tomb (Thoris) hunting zone.
  • Changed monster layout of gorgons in Serpent Island (Garrogat) hunting zone.
  • Changed spawn time of creatures in Necropolis Outskirts (Osaris) from 215 to 250 seconds.
  • Changed spawn time of creatures in Necropolis (Osaris) from 180 to 200 seconds.
  • Changed spawn time of creatures in Corrupted Spider Nest (Abukir) from 300 to 240 seconds.
  • Changed monster layout of nether spiders in Nether Spider Cave (Forgula) hunting zones. Normalized spawn time from 700 seconds to 600 seconds.
  • Changed monster layout of frost dragons in Frost Dragon Island (Forgula) hunting zone. Increased spawn time from 600s to 640s and added more frost dragons.
  • Normalized spawn time of creatures in Dream Cultist Tomb (Luana) to 135 seconds.
  • Normalized spawn time of creatures in Fetish Camp (Luana) to 310 seconds.
