To keep the game's economy fair and balanced, this patch we have focused on changes to combat gold inflation. By adjusting the prices of supplies and blessings, we aim to make sure your gold stays valuable. These updates are crucial to maintaining a fair environment where all players' efforts and investments are respected. Thank you for your understanding.
The following changes were made after the server save:
House rent changes:
Previous System:
- Every tile increased the rent by 20.62 gold coins.
New System:
- First 50 tiles: 625 gold coins per tile.
- Next 50 tiles (51-100 tiles) 137.5 gold coins per tile.
- Next 50 tiles (101-150 tiles) 125 gold coins per tile.
- Next 50 tiles (151-200 tiles) 112.5 gold coins per tile.
- Next 100 tiles (201-300 tiles) 87.5 gold coins per tile.
- For any tiles beyond 300: 62.5 gold coins per tile.
Example Calculation:
- For a house with 120 tiles, the cost is calculated as follows:
- First 50 tiles: 50 tiles * 625 gold coins = 31250 gold coins
- Next 50 tiles (51-100): 50 tiles * 137.5 gold coins = 6875 gold coins
- Remaining 20 tiles (101-120): 20 tiles * 125 gold coins = 2500 gold coins
- Total cost for 120 tiles: 31250 + 6875 + 2500 = 40625 gold coins
Store blessings price change:
- Base price increased back to 100 Medivia coins.
- Price now scales linearly at price of 20 Medivia coins at level 20 up to 100 Medivia coins at level 150.
Gold coins blessings price change:
- Price of blessings now scales with level.
- Formula: price = (level ^ 2) * 0.20 + 4000
- Prices are rounded down to the nearest hundred. For example, 14,433 gold coins will be rounded down to 14,400 gold coins.
Spell mana cost changes:
- Conjure Ultimate Healing Rune: 80 -> 90 mana points
- Conjure Heavy Magic Missile Rune: 50 -> 55 mana points
- Conjure Heavy Frozen Missile Rune: 50 -> 55 mana points
- Conjure Explosive Arrow: 480 -> 525 mana points
- Conjure Heavy Arrow: 480 -> 600 mana points
- Conjure Heavy Bolt: 480 -> 600 mana points
- Conjure Piercing Arrow: 110 -> 125 mana points
- Conjure Piercing Bolt: 140 -> 160 mana points
- Conjure Fireball Rune: 50 -> 55 mana points
- Conjure Sudden Death Rune: 180 -> 200 mana points
- Conjure Small Explosive Rune: 960 -> 1050 mana points
Rune and ammunition price changes:
- Small explosive rune: 50 -> 55 gold coins
- Heavy arrow: 50 -> 55 gold coins
- Heavy bolt: 50 -> 55 gold coins
- Intense healing rune: 75 -> 85 gold coins
- Explosion rune: 260 -> 290 gold coins
- Fireball rune: 85 -> 95 gold coins
- Great fireball rune: 195 -> 215 gold coins
- Heavy magic missile rune: 85 -> 95 gold coins
- Sudden death rune: 330 -> 365 gold coins
- Ultimate healing rune: 145 -> 170 gold coins
We expect this change will affect the inflation the most. In the past we have decreased both gold and mana cost of runes and since then we have also made numerous changes that overall increased character strength on all stages of the game. Combined, this resulted in more efficient hunting and higher profit.
Daily rewards changes:
- Updated mana coins price to match new rune mana cost.
- Base mana coins amount was decreased from 2400 to 2050.
- Mana coins bonus increased by level beyond 20 and below 100 was decreased from 10 to 5 per level.
- Daily streak point reward decreased from 200 mana coins to 150 mana coins per day (until day 7).
Chaos Hydra hunting zone:
- Increased base spawn time from 660 seconds to 1500 seconds.
This change is also meant to combat inflation as after introduction of dynamic spawn time the kill rate of this creature greatly increased. The intention was to increase experience per hour, not profit, but the change increased both. The hunting zone will be reworked in the future to keep the profit at intended level but with boost of experience per hour.
Bloodlust Stance changes:
- Bloodlust Stance now also decreases player's armor by 30.
This change is oriented towards low and mid level knights using this spell to hunt. The intention of this spell was to boost experience per hour in exchange for receiving more damage, but this increased damage received was almost not noticeable when hunting low level creatures, resulting in higher experience per hour as well as higher profit.
Level in console:
- Added an option to hide player level next to their text messages in console.
- Added an option to display player level to the left side of their name in console.
- This change requires an update of game client.
