Dear players
The game client has been updated to version 6.70. This patch we have introduced various quality-of-life improvements, like making it possible to start faction boss fights more than once per day, making it more friendly to pick-up loot of Sheol monsters or by adding more travel routes. We have also made changes to piercing ammunition and made it possible to conjure it with spells learnable after completing of the Elf Faction. Additionally, we've addressed a range of issues and made updates to items, NPC chat, and hunting zones (mostly faction task creature spawns).

Serenity store rune charge change:
As previously stated in the launch thread of the Serenity game world on our forum, we have made adjustments to the store rune charges rate after another 30 days since the launch, increasing it from 2.2x to 2.6x. This means that runes bought from the store now come with more charges for the same price.
For example, amount of rune charges of sudden death rune that costs 20 Medivia Coins has been increased:
- from 231 charges (2.2x rate) to 273 charges (2.6x rate) on Serenity game world.
The next and final store rune charge change is planned in about 30 days from now. The final store rune charge rate will be 3.0x.
Miscellaneous changes:
- Monsters are no longer able to trigger the mechanisms in the catacombs deep below Forgula.
- A message is now displayed when mechanism in the catacombs deep below Forgula is triggered.
- Flamebringers now cast special AoE attack more often and there is a shorter delay between text message and the attack cast.
- Shortened several walls in the maze in Magnum Opus quest area to improve visibility of symbols.
- Added "Conjure Piercing Arrow" and "Conjure Piercing Bolt" spells.
- Added "The Art of Piercing" quest, available only for archers.
- Decreased price of piercing bolts from 20 gold coins to 15 gold coins.
- Increased amount of piercing bolts crafted with 5 vanadinite bars (NPC Grazlin) from 30 bolts to 40 bolts.
- Added NPCs Zahir and Khalid; desert nomads that will offer their camel travelling services to those who have helped Caliph Khanrad (The Osaris Faction).
- Added new one-way location with NPC Shaish after completing "The Osaris Faction".
- Moved NPC Bilrosch (Dwarf Faction raft) near Eschen outskirts a bit to the west, closer to the city of Eschen.
- Damage values of "Great Energy Beam" spell are now displayed in larger font.
- The garden near 'Solar Street 3' house has been expanded and now is a part of the house.
Boss fight changes:
- Necromantica boss fight can now be started multiple times per server save.
- Thor'garak boss fight can now be started multiple times per server save.
- Fire axe was removed from a list of possible reward from reward chest after defeating Thor'garak.
- Level 150 is no longer required to enter Archbishop Zorbar boss fight.
- Completion of "Priests of Light" task is now required to enter Archbishop Zorbar boss fight.
- Doubled amount of randomly cast holy explosions attacks of Archbishop Zorbar.
- Reward chest no longer appears after Archbishop Zorbar has been defeated, but instead is now always located in NPC Habram room.
- Opening reward chest of Necromantica, Daevok, Thor'garak, Balremaach, Archbishop Zorbar boss fights now displays a message.
Note: if reward cannot be picked up from the above mentioned reward chests, it will be sent to the depot.

Item changes
- Double headed axe is now stackable.
- Soul amulet is now sellable to Draculd for 50,000 gold coins.
- Lich Lord crown is now sellable to Draculd for 140,000 gold coins.
- Changed selling price of magic cloak from 60,000 gold coins to 150,000 gold coins.
- Reworked look of loaded crystal ball.
- Renamed isingoma backpack to priest backpack.
- Reduced magic level required to use "Heavy Fire Missile" rune from magic level 15 to magic level 10.
- Increased damage multiplier of "Heavy Fire Missile" rune from 0.40x-0.80x to 0.80x-1.20x.
Note: Damage dealt with the rune is equal to damage multipliers multiplied by character's spellpower.
For example: If player's spellpower is 200, then minimum damage dealt with rune is 0.80x200 and maximum damage is equal to 1.20x200.
Addressed the following issues:
- Undead Reapers no longer will change its look direction when casting scythe attack.
- Removed duplicate NPC Sergeant Hornrage in Minoras.
- Instrument lyre is now working properly.
- Changed water type of lake on top of the hill on Mejborn island to water from ice region.
- Resistance percentage value provided by Elemental Shield spells now updates properly when the spell is cast again.
- Invisible NPCs related to "Magnum Opus" quest and few other invisible NPCs now speak in orange text again, that is only visible on game screen and is hidden in the console.
- Removed 'Use with...' option from shield of unseen forces, that was not assigned to any action.
- NPC Elijah no longer says few dialogues in public Default channel, but speaks in NPC channel instead.
- Fixed an issue that caused list of commands to be hidden within a spellbook module.
- Fixed an issue that in a lot of cases lowered chance to drop items with enchantments.
- Succubuses can now cast a fire wave attack again, that was accidentally disabled in the patch in the past.
- Fixed an issue that caused NPC White Lady not respond to "craft" and "exchange" keywords.
- Fixed a bunch of bugged walls that weren't part of the house in 'Castle, 2nd floor, Flat 07'.
- Fixed a bunch of bugged walls that weren't part of the house in "Cirone 13".
- Fixed several other minor map and text issues.
Game client changes
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused boss cast bar not appear on the game screen.
- Updated game client and character list background.
- Changed color of text messages sent and received in NPC channel.
- Text messaged received from NPCs now appear above NPC instead on the middle of the game screen.
- Logging into the game with WSAD walking enabled will now automatically disable the chat, allowing to move with WSAD keys without first disabling it manually.
Changes related to Isingoma Event:
- Isingoma boss fight is now using a dungeon system. The dungeon, Isingoma Tomb, only consists of a boss fight.
- Isingoma Tomb dungeon is a daily repeatable dungeon with completion limit of 3 per day. Each clear will grant each member experience, money and item rewards.
- The fight itself is very similar to the one last year, but there are some noticeable changes to attacks, so please be aware of that.

Hunting zone changes:
Winterbay Castle (Winterbay):
- Changed spawn time of all minotaurs from 300s to 150s.
- Replaced most minotaurs with minotaur guards, minotaur archers or minotaur mages.
- Changed monster placement of monsters.
Orc Village (Mejborn):
- Changed spawn time of monsters (mostly orc warriors) from 150s to 105s.
Small Orc Fortress (Coldridge):
- Replaced several creatures with orc bowmans.
- Normalized spawn timers.
Orc Fortress (Arak):
- Replaced several creatures on the western part of hunting zone with orc bowmans.
Orc Fortress, Corrupted Watchers floor (Arak):
- Replaced most monsters with orc berserkers or orc leaders.
- Changed monster layout.
- Changed spawn time of monsters from 300s to 120s.
- Made hunting zone circular.
Elven Garrison (Lucindel):
- Changed spawn time of monsters from 300s to 180s.
- Replaced some elfs scouts with elfs and elfs arcanists on the first underground floor.
- Replaced several elfs with elfs guardians on the second underground floor.
- Added three more elfs swordmasters on the third underground floor.
Mylvalone (Lucindel):
- Changed spawn time of monsters from 300s to 220s.
Crystal beetle caves (Thoris):
- Changed spawn time of monsters from 300s to 220s.
City of Shakir:
- Changed spawn time of shakirian prayers, slave hunters and slave guards from 300s and 320s to 240s.
Dragoneater Clanhouse (Mittenhoff):
- Changed spawn time of monsters from 320s to 280s.
Lightbringer Hideout (Eschen, Minoras):
- Replaced 6 lightbringer knights with 3 lightbringer heroes.
- Due to this change maximum experience per hour has increased.
Grim Hideout (Forgula):
- Changed spawn time of grim adepts from 200s to 150s.
- Removed one grim adept.
- Due to this change maximum experience per hour has increased.
- Separated spawns by adding doors.
Serpentine Tomb (Forgula):
- Normalized spawn timers of undead titans.
- Replaced two abominations with undead titans.
- Replaced necromancers on the lowest floor of the hunting zone with skeletons plaguespreaders.
Catacombs (Forgula):
- Changed spawn time of undead titans outside quest area from 900s to 420s.
Old Church of White Light (Arak):
- Swapped places of two groups of priests of light with two single holy sentinels, that were located inside buildings.
- Changed location of stairs in the buildings.
- Changed location of a group of mindless worshippers.
- Replaced 6 mindless worshippers with additional 2 priests of light.
White Light Chapel (Thoris):
- Removed all mindless worshippers.
- Removed few priests of light.
- Changed spawn time of monsters from 360s to 200s.
- Due to this change maximum experience per hour has increased by about 18%.
The Arcanum (Arak):
- Changed monster placement.
- Removed few magma golems.
- Added doors to several rooms.
- Removed 1 warlock, 1 arcanist and 1 evoker from the quest room.
- Destabilized portal is now surrounded by wall and metal bars that have to be removed by using a lever.
Minoras, City of Minotaurs (Eschen):
- Normalized spawn timers of creatures.
Glacius Isle (Forgula):
- Normalized spawn timers of frost dragons.

- Increased chance to drop red spellwand.
