Regarding today's incident:

Today after the test server we have expected to move our main server to a new upgraded machine which usually takes about an hour or two.
That being the case, after moving files of our main server to the new hosting machine it became heavily unstable due to some sort of hardware failure.
After the hardware failure was reported we were hoping for it to be replaced within acceptable time period to avoid rebuilding game worlds on the old machine.
However, that was not the case as the failing piece of hardware became difficult to locate and therefore we had to move back to the old machine to avoid even
more downtime.

After a few more hours since we have launched the game we have received a message that the machine was replaced as a whole and it is good to go.
Therefore a scheduled downtime once again is likely to happen on Monday, 16.03.2020 right after server save to perform and finish the upgrade we have started today.

Also, as a compensation three days of premium were added to premium players and two days of premium (for the weekend) were added to every free account players.

We do very much do apologize for the inconveniences. Please note it was as unexpected to us as it was to you.

Please notice that due to coronavirus the Internet in general is heavily overloaded. This is not an issue from Medivia as our servers are in fact functioning properly.

Medivia game worlds are perfectly capable of handling all the load from players which is necessary to create a smooth gaming experience.

If you experience kicks or lags it is more than likely it's an issue somewhere between your location and the game server itself.
The issue in pretty much all cases does not lie within the game server, but rather within a node which your connection goes through before reaching Medivia.

It is now possible to transfer character out of Unity to any other world (including Prophecy). Following transfers are possible:

Legacy => Pendulum, Destiny

Destiny => Legacy, Pendulum

Prophecy => Legacy, Pendulum, Destiny

Unity => Legacy, Pendulum, Destiny, Prophecy

Due to malfunction which started on NA worlds
we had to rollback the whole game to the state of today's server save for the sake of database integrity.
It is a very unfortunate event, but due to its nature it is also unpredictable and cannot be avoided once it happens.

That being the case, we would like to apologize for the incident.

Tomorrow (30-04-2020) a prolonged maintenance is expected due to hardware upgrades on NA worlds. Please be patient as it might take up to a few hours.

The maintenance will begin immediately after the server save. All worlds as well as the website will be unavailable until the upgrade is done.

Dear players

Due to huge abuse of the whole system which has no real limitations the bedmages are becoming more of a problem for Medivia.
There are no real benefits of bedmages for the healthy of the game itself and therefore we have decided to put following restrictions to mitigate this problem:

• Maximum of 4 characters per account can go to sleep at the same time within one world.
• Mana regeneration will be reduced from 10 points per minute to 6 points per minute.
• Maximum amount of slots has been limited to 10 per account (any existing accounts with more slots will not be affected).

Some of the restrictions were already implemented and the rest will be executed after the server save.

However, having in mind that certain players have made their bedmages characters in a good faith we will give a free possibility to transfer
your characters to a different account under a condition you had such characters in the first place.
The option itself is available under account section and transfer points will be soon given to accounts with over 4 characters
between level 40 and 60 which does qualify as bedmage character (e.g. if you had 5 characters between level 40 and 60, 1 transfer will be added to your account).

Please that that to avoid any abuse of free transfer between accounts the level of the character was restricted to be within range of 40 to 60.

Transferring such character will result in a removal of one slot from the origin account and adding 30 days of extra premium time.
That is under an assumption that the origin account has over 4 slots, if not, no slots will be removed and no extra premium will be added.

Dear players

Accounts with actual bedmages have now received transfer points under following limitations:

1. Account had to have over 4 slots in general.
2. Account had to have over 4 characters defined as "bed mage" on a given world (level in the range of [40, 60] excluding warrior vocation).
   Characters couldn't be spread out over multiple worlds for that matter.
3. Last login of a bedmage character had to be within last 30 days.

If all of this was met then X - 4 transfers were given to that specific account. Once character is transferred out of the account,
100 Medivia Coins will be assigned under "Redeem" button for the origin account.

The time limit to transfer your characters is expected to be 2 weeks from now on after which all points will vanish to avoid abuse in the future.

If you do not wish to transfer your characters then simply please ignore this message, but please note that after two weeks it will no longer be possible.

Please note that transferred characters will be closely monitored to avoid any type of abuse (e.g. destructive behavior) which will result
in the banishment of the origin account, too.
