Dear players

Following changes will be visible after the server save:

* Strife players that killed a combatant with lower level will now receive experience points.
Level of the attacker cannot be higher than 33% of victim's level in order to gain experience.

* Removed bars with doors inside Abomination spawn in White Rose Tomb.

* Minor spelling mistakes and map bugs were fixed.

From now on the house auction banishment (for bidding without funds) will now be 2 days long and will be mandatory to go through.

Staff members will no longer lift such banishments under any circumstances. Please be aware of that during bidding.

In order to avoid issues with the premium subscription which was drawn each month a new billing plan has been created for new subscriptions.

The old plan draws payment each month, but due to possible issues (e.g. delay from PayPal system, website down times, and so on)
it is way too close to the edge of the premium end time which might result in payment being drawn not on time to keep the premium continuous.

That being the case a new billing plan has been created which will draw the payment each 28 days in order to be on the safe margin for possible delays.
Please keep in mind that despite the premium being added each 28 days it will still add 30 days of premium as usual.

Recurring payment each 28 days instead of 30 days is there for the safety reasons (e.g. not losing your house in game).

Please keep in mind that in order to activate new plan you will need to cancel the old one on PayPal website (active recurring payments / subscriptions).
As soon as you do that please navigate to Premium page to active a new premium subscription.

Also, 6 days of free premium was added to all currently active subscriptions. That should be enough time (about a year) to cancel an old subscription
and switch to a new one instead.

We are very sorry, but due to technical issues with our incoming patch (which does bring in random attributes for weapons, armors, shields and other items)
we will have to postpone Isingoma event by two weeks.

That being the case we would like to release the patch before the event itself, but since certain issues appeared we cannot do that tomorrow before the event.

In a few days we will release a teaser with random attributes for items :) Please stay tuned!

As a compensation for the lack of Isingoma event there will be 10% of increased loot and spawn rates for the whole weekend including Monday.
Please note that this event of increased loot and spawn rates will not take place on Strife though.

A new version of the game client has been uploaded and will be needed after the server save.
The following changes were made as of today:

* Attribute system was added (more information about can be found under News section on Forum).
* Added painite crystals.
* Several formulas have changed - they are available under Interviews and Articles section on Forum.
* New sound engine has been implemented (FMOD) with effects such as 3D sounds positioning, velocity (Doppler Effect), reverberations, and so on.
* If you have an issue with distorted sound please go to sound options and set a proper attenuation value since it has been changed from percentage to dB.
* Reworked Mage and Nobleman outfits for male characters.
* A few NPCs were added to the game.
* Added new special effects to some existing items (for e.g. Thunder Hammer now has a chance to deal additional energy damage upon hit).
* Special effects of fiery bow and ancient crossbow now apply to hunting arrows/bolts as well.
* Buffed Hellforged set pieces and few other items.
* Added a wooden spear to weapon salesman's offer.
* Fixed some spelling mistakes and map issues.
* Blessings and Amulet of Loss were added to the Store.
* Changed stats and attack speed of two handed weapons.

We also decided to close Strife game world a bit earlier than we planned, to make additional changes based on your feedback, needed for a better and more exciting next season.
Detailed information about the next iteration and rewards will be given later.

On a side note, we would like to remind everyone about Isingoma Event, which will be held today, in the evening.

A small patch has been released today with a new game client available under download section.

Following changes were implemented:

* Fixed sound engine which should now fluently pane between left and right channel when you walk around the object.
Also, a different attenuation curve (based on distance from the object) was chosen according to feedback from players themselves.
* Fixed frame limiter for the game client which should now correctly limit amount of fps to the chosen value.
* Core optimizations were made to the game server.
* Improved bunch of sprites.
* Added ability to redeem strife points in game (under Account section) and spend them a the NPC.
* Added empty house package for 2 Medivia Coins in the store to pack back products such as home depot, home malbox, and so on.
* Added keychain to the store (an item which holds multiple keys).
* Added Mystery Box (with an average value of 125 Medivia Coins) to the store which generates a random product from the store.

Due to a small mistake from our side the weight of keychain has been changed from 1 oz to proper value of 20 oz.

The value of 1 oz was in fact a placeholder which wasn't fixed later on.

We are very sorry for the mistakes. If anyone feels he was mislead due to wrong weight of the item we can obviously return the purchase in Medivia Coins.

Please note that during the transfer between worlds you need to wait at least 24 hours after you send items to a character which is offline waiting for the transfer.

The character itself needs to be offline for at least 24 hours during which you cannot send any parcels to that character because the items will be simply lost during the transfer.

The autumn came and nature has changed its colors. The world will be changed until the 14th of December.
Everyday, the revival of the Face of Decay is getting closer and closer.
Halloween themed monsters started to drop Halloween Coins which can be used to purchase Halloween items.
Rumors say that Grim will visit Medivia lands in the next few days.

Game client update has been released and it brings following changes:
* Floors in houses are now customizable. Custom house tiles and carpets can be bought through the Store.
* Several bed sheets and other items have been added to the Store.
* Few monsters have changed the appearance.
* Some Halloween themed items have been added to Grim's offer.
* Changed several sprites.
* Fixed high CPU usage due to FPS limiter.
* Fixed mouse events and possible fps drops during it.
* Fixed some "lag" issue after killing a monster or losing a target.
