After today's server save there will be a small update of the game client and the game server with following changes:

• You can now purchase runes in magic shops for gold coins.
• Minor fixes in the game client to address a specific issue with WASD walking keys.
• Generic fixes of bugs reported by players.

Due to API changes in Windows 10 built 1809 I did release an emergency fix of the game client which fixes the issue with loading configuration files and saving them.

If you update your Windows then please make sure to download the newest built (same version, but with built date of 2018-10-05). It is available under download section.

Today over 1200 accounts were deleted for using any unofficial software in the last two months.

Several high leveled players were deleted along with this wave. The question is - was it worth it?

Your name changes did not help you to hide from the wave.

There is a poll whether transfer of characters should be allowed between Legacy and Destiny as a premium service.

Please keep in mind that the poll itself is premium only and it requires certain level to participate.

Premium orders can now be transfered to other players under Account section ("Transfer premium").

Also, another option such as "Activate premium" was added. It requires a premium code which is then transformed into a purchase.

Premium codes can contain all kind of purchases (premium scroll, house scroll, and so on) and they are activated by a unique key.

Currently premium codes will only be available for resellers (e.g. Rei dos Coins).

Kelarn, a previous developer of Medivia who did work on Abukir among other things back then has joined us again :)

Personally I'm really glad he had some time to help us again with the development of the game.

The witches across Medivia are traveling a lot this time a year and performed a ritual to make their enchanted brooms slightly slower but instead last all throughout the Halloween.

Once the Halloween season is over the ritual will fade and enchanted witch brooms will fly at full speed again but the enchantment will eventually run out if used. Happy flying!

Today's server save changed some of the stronger creatures of Medivia. Currently, there is no reason to team hunt these creatures with a knight on higher levels.
It causes high level knights to feel weaker than other vocations as they are not needed and it disincentivizes team hunting in general which should never be the goal.
Therefore, the following changes will take place:

• Undead Dragons now have a higher base speed value
• Undead Dragons can now paralyze players
• Shadow Drakes can now paralyze players
• Shadow Drakes can now mana drain players
• Abominations now have a higher base speed value
• Abominations can now cast a more powerful haste spell

After some discussions and player feedback we have decided for the following further changes:

• Shadow Drakes can no longer mana drain players
• Shadow Drakes now have a lower chance to paralyze players
• Shadow Drakes paralyze is now weaker
• Forgula Shadow Drake spawn now requires the use of levitate to enter the spawn (still same location)
• Shadow Drakes now yield 23000 experience points (up from 20000)
• Shadow Drakes now have a higher average loot value (~10%)
• Undead Dragons now yield 37000 experience points (up from 24000)
• Undead Dragons now have a higher average loot value (~6,5%)
• Abominations has had its haste spell reverted into its original state
• Abominations melee attack has been reduced
• Abominations ranged rock toss attack now deals more damage
• Abomination now has a new ranged attack (Vomit Toss, happens rarely, deals large amount of damage)
• Replaced the Abomination in the so called Serpentine Tomb with an Undead Behemoth spawn
• Nether Spider now have a higher average loot value (~10,5%)
