Dear players

While we are still working on the main land update, we prepared a smaller content update for you to enjoy! We are aware that players are longing for more content and we took some time to develop a whole bunch of new features, creatures, areas and even an entirely new skill you can work on. We are happy to announce that this smaller update is finished and availible on the game worlds after the server save on the 23rd of May 2019. To give you an idea on what you can expect, we would like to showcase some of the new addtions.


A massive sphinx statue has been uncovered east of Osaris.


Ancient areas are to be explored in the ruins below.


Mysterious creatures guard the ruins.


Can you become a pharaoh yourself...


or will you die trying?


After the vulcano on the ogre island errupted nothing looks like before.


The erruption has angered the chimeras...


as well as the ogres.


A group of warlocks seems to have climbed into the vulcano to study the chimeras.


New types of fish seem to swim in Medivia's waters.


Cooking the fish allows the creation of fancy new meals. Can you collect and store all recipes in your cookbook?


Crocodiles have emerged around Osaris.


A group of sand trolls settled near Osaris.



Summary of new content:
-New areas and spawns around Osaris
-New creatures
-New items
-New rare spawn creatures
-Revamped ogre island vulcano
-New Questline to obtain Pharaoh Outfit
-New cooking skill
-Revamped fishing system
-Improved creature behaviour

Furthermore, we have made the following changes to existing content:
-Updated graphic reworks for certain items
-Updated graphics for many enviorments around Forgula
-Increased taunt range by 1 tile
-Added some of the new items in existing creatures (for the sake of keeping things spoiler free we will not mention which ones)
-Increased the difficulty of some Novus raids
-Renamed "fish" into "herring", the most commonly caught fish type
-Slightly increased the difficulty for a successful catch with all fishing rods
-With the addition of new fish types, herrings have a harder time to find suitable mates and therefore reproduction times increased
-Abominations no longer use their ranged abilities when fighting in melee combat but they will cast it slightly more frequently in general
-Skull Reapers no longer use their ranged ability when fighting in melee combat but they will cast it slightly more frequently in general
-Corrupted Spiders no longer use their ranged ability when fighting in melee combat but they will cast it slightly more frequently in general
-Frost Dragons no longer use their ice bomb ability when fighting in melee combat
-Shadow Drakes no longer use one of their death bomb abilities when fighting in melee combat
-Ancient Golem now have a higher average loot value (~13%)

Nice changes!

Did the changes on Chimera's in Foreign lands also have any type of 'fix' on their spawn timers?
These seemed to be off as the respawns take a really long time there.

The respawn times of the spawn are intended to be rather long as there are a lot of chimeras there. Nevertheless, it will be easier to not block the chimeras that have a slightly longer respawn rate than the rest so it should result in smoother hunting.

Doesn't this make the game a bit 'too' easy for the knights class currently?
As they no longer, deal their 'full' combos as they are currently described on the wikipedia pages.
Where it would have become fairly harder to mages / paladins to reach absurt high exp/hr rates?

Just being curious, but could you give your view of reasoning on that?

Not a fan of the increase in the more frequently dist things. I find the dmg being lower in melee might be a good way to balance stuff, but yeah not sure atm how it will work out. Interesting though.

Rest of update looking good. Nice to have some new stuff and specially awesome that osaris wont feel as empty anymore.

Isnt it what we need though? Fairly harder game for vocations that benefited from kiting and distance attacks for so long, while there was no real benefit from melee fighting anything?
To be honest, i’m surprised this only affects couple of monsters and wild growth abuse hunting will still be a thing.

What else would druids use this spell for if not to block off monsters with it? It's designed to be used that way. Not to decorate the map with trees for 150 mana.

Funny thing to say when knight is the best voc for solo xping and cashmaking.

Great patchnotes. Only good changes so far. Just hoping new content is Pog and not op. Lack of female royalist killed me inside. Worried about knights tanking 6+ aboms and sorc ewaving them but we will see.

edit: Female Royalist confirmed - 10/10 update would recommend.

Also, I think that before introducing the new mainland you should think about decent advertising to bring new players to the server.
